At the Vinylograph recording sessions, artists and audiences can immerse themselves in the world of live recordings. Working closely with our team, your music is captured in real-time on vinyl, creating a unique, irreproducible piece that preserves the authenticity of your performance and the magic of the moment.
In February 2017, Vienna band Lady Lynch recorded a set of singles by playing one song 50 times in a row – one of our first limited editions
Live in the Studio with Vinylograph
One of the first Vinylograph recording sessions took place in 2016 with the artist Voodoo Jürgens, as part of Natascha Muhic’s degree exhibition at the Academy of Fine Arts. Numerous recording sessions with local and international artists have followed since. At least two copies from each session remain in the Vinylograph archive.
Magical Snapshots
What happens at the Vinylograph recording sessions is nothing short of magical. The transparency of the production process and the proximity of the audience to the artists create a strong connection to the “product,” allowing everyone present to leave their mark on the record. The Vinylograph recording sessions are usually held at SSTR6 (Schönbrunner Straße 6, 1040 Wien) and are announced in advance through our social media channels, admission is free.
